This custom 24ft BBQ food trailer is designed for vendors who need a larger mobile BBQ kitchen capable of handling steady customer traffic. The 24ft trailer layout provides more working space for cooking, preparation, and cold storage, which helps maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
This format works well for food festivals, busy street food locations, brewery partnerships, and catering operations where a BBQ food trailer must produce a high number of orders without slowing down service.
BBQ Trailer Equipment List
This BBQ concession trailer includes commercial propane equipment commonly used for barbecue menus and grilled street food items.
- 36″ manual gas griddle for burgers, BBQ sandwiches, and grilled meats;
- 24″ gas restaurant range for boiling, sautéing, and preparing sauces or sides;
- 24″ gas radiant broiler for high-heat grilling and finishing meats;
- 15½” gas deep fryer for fries, fried sides, and popular street food items;
- 24½” half-size proofer for warming buns and preparing sandwich bread;
- 36″ sandwich prep table for organizing toppings, sauces, and ingredients;
- 54″ reach-in refrigerator for storing meats and refrigerated products;
- 27″ reach-in freezer for frozen food storage.
The interior preparation areas are constructed from commercial-grade stainless steel designed for durability and easy sanitation. The kitchen also includes a 10ft exhaust hood ventilation system that removes smoke, grease, and heat produced by grilling and frying equipment.
The exterior of the trailer can be finished with a full custom wrap that allows vendors to display their branding at food events, public markets, and street food locations.
24ft BBQ kitchen designed for busy service
A 24ft BBQ food trailer allows operators to separate cooking, preparation, and refrigeration areas more efficiently. This layout helps staff move quickly between stations and maintain consistent food quality during peak hours.
The equipment combination supports a wide range of menu items including BBQ sandwiches, grilled meat plates, burgers, smoked meats, loaded fries, and other barbecue street food dishes.
Designed to meet food safety requirements
All food trailers are designed with sanitation and health department requirements in mind. Stainless steel preparation areas, commercial refrigeration equipment, and organized food zones help operators maintain proper food handling practices required by local health authorities.
Before construction begins, customers can review and customize their kitchen layout using our food trailer configurator. This allows operators to confirm equipment placement and workflow before production starts.
How the production process works
After placing an order, the trailer enters the planning stage where equipment placement and the kitchen layout are confirmed. The build then moves through structural assembly, equipment installation, electrical work, and system testing.
During the manufacturing process customers receive progress photo updates. Before delivery the trailer goes through a final inspection to verify that all kitchen systems and equipment operate correctly.
