This custom 22ft BBQ food trailer is designed for vendors who plan to operate a larger mobile BBQ kitchen with a full cooking line. The 22ft trailer provides more workspace, allowing multiple cooking stations for grilling, searing, and holding barbecue menu items during busy service.
The layout works well for food festivals, brewery locations, street food markets, and catering operations where a BBQ food trailer must handle steady customer flow while maintaining fast order preparation.
BBQ Trailer Equipment List
This BBQ concession trailer includes commercial propane cooking equipment designed for grilled meats, sandwiches, and classic BBQ street food menus.
- 36″ manual gas griddle for cooking burgers, BBQ sandwiches, and grilled meats;
- 24″ gas hot plate for sauces, beans, and additional cooking tasks;
- 24″ gas radiant broiler for high-heat grilling and finishing meats;
- 33″ gas hot food holding table for keeping cooked food ready for service;

All interior preparation areas are constructed with commercial-grade stainless steel surfaces built for durability and easy cleaning. The kitchen includes an 11ft exhaust hood ventilation system that removes smoke, grease, and heat generated by grilling equipment.
The exterior can be finished with a full custom trailer wrap that allows vendors to display their brand clearly at festivals, public events, and street food locations.
22ft BBQ kitchen built for higher volume service
A 22ft BBQ food trailer gives operators more space to separate cooking, prep, and storage areas. This improves workflow and helps staff work efficiently during lunch and evening rush periods.
The combination of a large griddle, broiler, and hot holding equipment allows vendors to prepare BBQ sandwiches, grilled meat plates, burgers, smoked meat dishes, and popular street food menu items.
Designed for food safety and inspections
Every food trailer is designed with sanitation and health department requirements in mind. Stainless steel work areas, refrigeration equipment, and organized food preparation zones help support proper food handling practices required by local health authorities.
Before production starts, operators can review their kitchen layout using our food trailer configurator. This allows you to confirm equipment placement and plan your workflow before construction begins.
Production and build process
After the order is placed, the trailer moves into the planning stage where the kitchen layout and equipment configuration are confirmed. The build then progresses through structural assembly, equipment installation, and system testing. During production customers receive progress photo updates. Before delivery, the trailer undergoes a final inspection to verify that all equipment, electrical systems, and kitchen components operate correctly.
